The Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA) is a self-funded, not-for-profit organization dedicated to improving public safety.

Throughout Ontario, TSSA regulates the safety of: amusement rides; elevators and escalators; ski lifts; fuels, including natural gas, petroleum, propane fuels and equipment; boilers and pressure vessels; operating engineers; and upholstered and stuffed articles.

MAKING PEOPLE'S LIVES BETTER
By Enhancing Public Safety

TSSA is there with you and your family each time you ride an escalator, start your backyard barbecue, hire a heating contractor to install and inspect your home furnace, load onto a ski lift - or even when you're catching some thrills on a rollercoaster, water slide or go-kart.

TSSA delivers innovative public education programs to increase safety awareness and promote enhanced safety behaviours for people of all ages.

AT TSSA, WE PUT PUBLIC SAFETY FIRST - ALWAYS.
